Hello Min,

We bought pre-made frozen oden! usually the bigger mart should have it. You just tell the ajumma “glamping” they should be able to understand and will prepare the instant soup for you. some oden comes with instant soup package too! If not, you can always buy some bonito flakes to make your own oden broth! 🙂

Hi Ely,

We book 2 weeks before the trip. U can try again when it’s nearer to your desired travel date, say a month before? 🙂

Any idea how long before the glamping stay did your friend book the place? I tried to make a reservation on the Korea Glamping site but seems that the furthest I can view is till August (my trip is in October-November). Thanks! 🙂

HAHA! remember to use Baeksul! I love their army stew stock to max. So convenient and yummy! (need to charge them for advertising and promoting their products already XD)

Hello!

Hiding in the tent on Christmas eve with loved ones sounds romantic 😀
You can layer up when you’re outdoor and there’s this saying in Korean that you’ll feel warmer when you eat. So just keep eating!
The heater indoor will be strong, so if you feel cold, just hide inside.

Hi Lu,
Yes, late December in the suburbs is a little too harsh for tourists to enjoy glamping to the fullest. For my case, I was there mid-November and I dared not even take shower at night just because it was too cold to strip off even when hot shower is provided. (it was -10 degree in mid-Nov.)
Transport wise, if you plan to cab down to Gapyeong county from Seoul, it will be difficult. Usually what we do is to take express bus to the local bus terminal and cab to the glampsite. For example, take bus/ train to Gapyeong station and cab from the station to the glampsite. Some glampsite might offer pickup at the station upon requests, you may check with the respective glampsite, or try to contact them via their FB page.

Usually we will have to drive to the campsite right? Is it difficult to get a taxi to go there and to leave from the campsite? Thanks!
